I am writing this note to give “kudos” to one of your members: Darrel.
He came to our home to fix a plumbing problem with one of the showers.

He was the 4th person to come out to see if the problem could be fixed and give an estimate. The other people listened to about three minutes of what I had to say then cut me off and put in their own two cents. One of them even said the bathroom wall had to be demolished to get to the problem. When Darrel came he gave me his full attention and listened to everything I had to say. He snaked the shower drain, and said he would get an estimate to take the shower apart and look into the drainage problem. A few weeks later he returned and went to work and “low and behold” the drainage pipe was cracked from top to bottom! (something my son had been saying all along.) Darrel went to work, fixed it and did a terrific job.

Darrel was courteous and very professional, yet friendly and willing to answer my questions while he was working.

Please let him know how much I appreciated his professionalism courtesy and fine work.

WOW! That is what my 71 year old mother and myself kept finding ourselves saying. WOW! Last month we had a leak in the kitchen and numerous other small annoyances like a low pressure kitchen sink faucet, slow drain in a bathroom sink, etc. We called our homeowners insurance American Home Shield(AHS) and they came, charged $60.00 for the call and fixed only the leak. He was creepy and spoke on his cell phone the entire time, in another language and then in broken English said the other items were not covered and beat a hasty retreat. Today, Sunday no less- one and then another toilet started backing up. Again we called the insurance, (We pay an astronomical monthly fee) and they stated they would not be able to come for at least 24 hours and the other issues were not covered. My nephew head us talking and piped up, “My friends own Lange Plumbing, call them-they’re cool.” So against my mothers wishes I called. They called back quickly and said they would take a look around the same price as we paid for AHS to “take a look.” We were skeptical because it WAS Sunday, but we agreed. WOW!!! It is now 2pm and Brian Howard just left. He snaked the toilet and cleared those, he took apart my bathroom sink drain AND showed me how to do it for future maintenance, fixing it; Took apart the kitchen(wand?) for the faucet and fixed it, showing us how to maintain it. Each time he fixed a problem he enthusiastically asked, “OK ladies, got anything else you want me to look at?” WOW! We were blown away! What a nice, honest, hard working guy! When all of our problems were FIXED, he gave us the bill and a senior discount…$89.00!!! WOW!! Then, as if he had not gone above and beyond, he showed us where the septic thing was and showed us how to keep an eye on it! The owners of Lange Plumbing are doing a GREAT JOB.
